Responsibilities
  • Procure supplies and manage inventory levels
  • Coordinate supply distribution and logistics
  • Manage budgets and negotiate purchases
  • Ensure contract compliance and service agreements
  • Chair the house-wide Value Analysis Team
  • Manage a team of Buyers, Product Specialists, Print Shop/Mail Room Services, and Messengers

Requirements
  • Associates Degree required with two years applicable purchasing experience and/or relevant education
  • Previous relevant supervisory experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • Comprehensive knowledge of purchasing procedures and systems
  • Expertise with ERP platforms such as Workday, with emphasis in healthcare field

License/Certifications/Special Requirements
  • Certification from recognized Purchasing organization highly desirable
  • Valid drivers license
