Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Professional to join our team at Knapheide Manufacturing. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, materials, and services to support our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best possible prices and terms.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement activities with business operations.
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize supply chain processes to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, Excel, Word, and other relevant software applications.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and process improvement.
