Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Geologist to join our team at Tetra Tech. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing for, and performing field activities such as collecting soil, rock, and groundwater samples, overseeing well drilling, construction, and testing, and performing geophysical surveys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct fieldwork to collect and analyze soil, rock, and groundwater samples
  • Oversee well drilling, construction, and testing operations
  • Perform geophysical surveys to gather data on subsurface conditions
  • Retrieve and analyze records and research data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in geology or a related field
  • Proven experience in field geology, including sampling, drilling, and surveying
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
