Job Title: Field Geologist

We are seeking an entry-level Field Geologist with 0 to 5 years' experience to join our team in Orlando, FL. The successful candidate will work on a variety of hydrogeological, geotechnical engineering, and environmental engineering projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Collecting soil, rock, and groundwater samples
  • Overseeing well drilling, construction, and testing
  • Performing geophysical surveys
  • Records retrievals and research
  • Surface water discharge measurements and storm event water quality sampling
  • Data review and analysis

The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and verbal communication skills, a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, and good computer skills. Knowledge of Florida geology and hydrogeology is required, as well as experience with analytical and field equipment.

Qualifications:
  • Technical expertise in geology and hydrogeology
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer skills, including experience with presentation software, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Internet Explorer
  • Knowledge of Florida geology and hydrogeology
  • Ability to direct field personnel and supervise drillers on projects
