Lead Veterinary Technician

At Thrive Pet Healthcare, we're seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Veterinary Technician to join our team at Keystone Veterinary Emergency & Referral. As a key member of our veterinary team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of veterinary technicians in their performance of daily tasks, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor staff productivity and morale, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging open communication.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving patient care, staff development, and clinic efficiency.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in veterinary medicine, with a strong background in leadership and team management.
  • Previous experience in emergency veterinary care is highly desirable.
  • CVT certification is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
