Key Responsibilities:
  • Support veterinarians in delivering quality care and advocating for pets
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures, adhering to state Veterinary Practice Act guidelines
  • Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options
  • Maintain accurate medical records and obtain relevant health history from clients
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in nursing skills, including IV catheter placement, venipuncture, and radiology
  • Triage experience, including physical exams and accurate vital sign measurement
  • Surgical/anesthesia skills, with prior training and experience
  • 2+ years of veterinary experience, with a strong background in patient care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
