Job Summary:
The Guest Services Representative plays a crucial role in delivering attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests during their stay. This position is vital in maximizing room revenue and occupancy while ensuring guest satisfaction from check-in to checkout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet all guests approaching the front desk in accordance with company standards.
- Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Provide information regarding hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation.
- Manage the PBX console and ensure compliance with hotel standards.
- Assist guests with inquiries about local attractions, dining options, and transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
- Ensure the delivery of packages, mail, and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
- Adhere to cash handling and credit policies diligently.
- Participate in all required training and meetings.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred. Strong computer skills and customer service experience are essential. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to multitask effectively.
Physical Requirements:
This role may require flexible hours and the ability to stand for extended periods. Light physical activity, including lifting up to 20 pounds, may be necessary.
