Job Summary:
Penn National Gaming is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Clerk to join our team. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless experience for our hotel guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and Register Guests: Welcome and register guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring all necessary information is collected and accurate.
- Assign Rooms and Verify Credit: Assign rooms to guests and verify their credit information to ensure a smooth check-in process.
- Manage Room Availability and Guest Accounts: Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts using our hotel computer systems.
- Compute Bills and Collect Payments: Compute guest bills and collect payments in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform Bookkeeping Activities: Perform simple bookkeeping activities, such as reconciling guest accounts and maintaining accurate financial records.
Requirements:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the job, including guest registration and financial transactions.
