Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on the hotel's facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. You will also be responsible for maintaining the hotel's pool and surrounding area, as well as performing minor and routine painting and other related maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain the hotel's facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  2. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the hotel's pool and surrounding area.
  3. Perform minor and routine painting and other related maintenance activities.
  4. Notify management of any major repairs or additions required to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
  5. Respond to guest requests for service according to company policy.
  6. Keep records of rooms completed.
  7. Program phone equipment according to hotel needs.
  8. Observe equipment and utility meter readings on a daily basis.
  9. Stay accessible to Front Desk and Chief Engineer.
  10. Maintain files of Material Safety Data Sheets.
  11. Ensure par stocking of regularly used parts and supplies.
  12. Learn emergency procedures.
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of previous maintenance experience required.
  • Technical licenses such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, etc. are helpful.
Salary:

$15 - $16 hourly.
