**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Department Leadership**: Oversee and coordinate the moving department activities, establishing goals and tracking results to drive business forecasting.
  • **Team Management**: Report on team and individual performance, work with HR to recruit and interview candidates, and develop job descriptions.
  • **Warehouse Operations**: Control warehouse products entering, receiving, pulling, locations, and loading, supervising warehouse workers and commercial sales.
  • **Logistics Coordination**: Coordinate warehouse shifts, timings, and hours of operation with the warehouse manager, and work with the team to choose new software for warehouse inventory management.
  • **Equipment Management**: Work with the warehouse manager and staff to keep track of equipment, dollies, panel carts, hand trucks, and loss prevention and equipment storage.
  • **Project Management**: Calculate the necessary manpower for major moving projects and organize monthly operations meetings.
  • **Business Development**: Bring in fresh concepts to improve business and workflow, and work with the CFO to coordinate closing schedules for all billing and accounts.

**Requirements**

  • Previous experience as a General Manager within the moving and relocation industry focused on sales is required.
  • A bachelor's degree is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal abilities are required.
  • Strong computer abilities are required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Must be able to train and develop both current and new staff members.
  • Must possess outstanding leadership and presenting skills.
