ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide essential support to students with behavioral challenges in a school setting.

Job Overview

This contract-based role involves implementing behavior intervention plans, collecting data, and collaborating with educational staff to create a positive learning environment. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and be responsible for providing one-on-one and small group support to students.

Salary and Benefits

The hourly rate for this position is competitive and based on experience and qualifications, with an average starting rate of $29 per hour. Additional benefits include health, dental, vision, and 401K, as well as weekly pay and opportunities for travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Individualized Behavior Intervention Plans

The RBT will implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as designed by the supervising BCBA, using a strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and techniques.

  • Provide Support to Students

The RBT will provide one-on-one and small group support to students to promote positive behavior and learning, including developing social skills, coping mechanisms, and academic engagement.

  • Collect and Record Data

The RBT will collect and record data on student behavior and progress according to established protocols, utilizing de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention strategies as necessary.

  • Collaborate with Educational Staff

The RBT will work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student needs, participating in team meetings and providing input on student progress and behavior management strategies.

Qualifications
  • A current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs, particularly in a school setting, is preferred
