As a Behavioral Support Specialist with ProCare Therapy, you will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioral challenges in a school setting. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives.

Job Overview

This role involves implementing behavior intervention plans, collecting data, and collaborating with educational staff to create a positive learning environment. You will work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student needs and develop strategies for improving academic engagement and social skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students to promote positive behavior and learning.
  • Collect and record data on student behavior and progress according to established protocols.
  • Assist in the analysis of data to adjust and improve intervention strategies.
  • Work closely with teachers and special education staff to develop and implement strategies for promoting academic engagement and social skills.
Required Qualifications
  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs, particularly in a school setting, is preferred.
