Job Overview

Monroe Tractor, a prominent dealer in construction and agricultural equipment with a legacy spanning over 70 years, is seeking a dedicated Digital Content Assistant. Our company, with a strong presence across multiple states, is committed to delivering exceptional sales and support to our valued customers.

As a Digital Content Assistant, you will be integral to our marketing team, engaging in a variety of tasks that include updating our website, managing social media platforms, crafting creative content, and designing visually appealing materials. This position provides a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in the fields of marketing and advertising while collaborating with a dynamic team focused on enhancing our brand visibility and connecting with our audience.

Compensation: $15 - $17 per hour

This role is fully on-site and reports directly to the Digital Marketing Manager.

Qualifications
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Creative thinker with a strong design sense and the ability to contribute to the creation of engaging digital content. Familiarity with Adobe graphic design tools is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp attention to detail.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) for website updates (WordPress or similar platform experience is required).
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, scheduling tools, and effective engagement strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience in marketing, social media management, or content creation is essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Regularly refresh the company website with current promotions, offers, and relevant content.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information regarding employees and job openings.
  • Curate and publish weekly news articles to keep visitors informed about company developments and industry insights.
  • Oversee social media accounts across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Actively source content from team members to highlight company culture, achievements, and behind-the-scenes activities.
  • Engage with customers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Draft press releases for new hires, promotions, and significant company announcements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure press releases align with brand messaging and are effectively distributed to media outlets.
  • Utilize existing assets to revitalize marketing materials.
