Position Overview

As a Digital Content Assistant, you will be integral to our marketing initiatives, contributing to a variety of tasks such as website enhancements, social media oversight, and the crafting of engaging written material. This role presents a valuable opportunity to acquire practical experience in the realms of marketing and advertising, collaborating with a dynamic team focused on amplifying our brand visibility and fostering audience engagement.

Compensation: $15 - $17 per hour

This position is fully on-site and reports directly to the Digital Marketing Manager.

Qualifications
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Creative flair with a strong sense of design, capable of contributing to the creation of visually appealing digital content. Familiarity with Adobe graphic design tools is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp attention to detail.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) for website updates, specifically WordPress or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of social media channels, scheduling tools, and best practices for audience engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience in marketing, social media management, or content creation is essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Regularly refresh the company website with current promotions, offers, and relevant content.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information regarding staff and open positions.
  • Curate and publish weekly news articles to keep visitors informed about company developments and industry insights.
  • Oversee social media profiles across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Actively gather content from team members to highlight company culture, achievements, and behind-the-scenes activities.
  • Engage with customers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Draft press releases for new hires, promotions, and significant company announcements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure press releases align with brand messaging and are effectively distributed to media outlets.
  • Revitalize existing marketing materials to enhance their visual appeal.
