Key Responsibilities of the Automotive Parts Specialist:
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing automotive parts and accessories.
- Accurately identify parts and pricing for both retail customers and service technicians.
- Facilitate the pickup and delivery of parts as required.
- Issue parts and accessories to mechanics from the parts counter.
- Utilize phone and internet resources to find the best prices for parts.
- Showcase seasonal parts and accessories attractively.
- Maintain organized files, reference materials, and other documentation.
- Ensure a clean and orderly stockroom and workspace.
Qualifications for the Automotive Parts Specialist:
- Previous experience in automotive retail is preferred.
- Experience in a dealership setting is a plus.
- Service or parts department experience in automotive, RV, powersport, or marine dealerships is encouraged.
- Strong organizational skills are essential.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
- Excellent customer service skills are a must.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and organizational abilities.
- Dependable, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude.
- Professional appearance is expected.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
