We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Coordinator to join our team at Schweiger Dermatology Group. As a Medical Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare providers in delivering top-notch medical services.

Job Summary:

The Medical Coordinator will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical and front office duties, including preparing exam rooms, assisting providers with medical procedures, and maintaining accurate patient records. Responsibilities:
  • Prepare exam rooms for patients, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Assist providers with medical procedures, including preparing patients for treatment and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, scheduling appointments, and managing inventory.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting, preferably in a dermatology or clinical environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, providers, and other team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
