Our 149-bed medical center is a nonprofit, acute-care facility, where over 300 primary care and specialty physicians are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Job Summary:
This role is part of a three-person Coordinator team supporting a large multidisciplinary practice focusing on Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine (PT, OT, Speech Therapy). Responsibilities include telephone call management, reception, co-pay collection, appointment scheduling, insurance clearance, medical record management, and Meditech functions. The Coordinator will assist Rehabilitation staff with setup, cleanup, transfers, and patient treatments under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist, as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage telephone calls and respond to inquiries
  • Provide reception services and co-pay collection
  • Schedule appointments and manage insurance clearance
  • Manage medical records and perform Meditech functions
  • Assist Rehabilitation staff with setup, cleanup, transfers, and patient treatments

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of computer and phone systems
  • Up to 1 year of customer service experience, with training provided on job specifics
  • Prior knowledge of insurances is preferred
  • Ability to multitask

Benefits:
Hospital differentials are paid based on policy, including $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends.
