Job Title: LPN - OTP Medication Room Nurse

Join our team at Sunrise Treatment Center, a leading provider of outpatient opiate addiction treatment, as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Medication Room. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team in a full-time or part-time capacity.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work in a medication-assisted treatment program, where you will be responsible for preparing and dispensing buprenorphine-based medication to our clients. As a Medication Room Nurse, you will work closely with our team to ensure the safe and effective administration of medication, while also providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and dispense buprenorphine-based medication to clients
  • Monitor and record client information, generate reports, and maintain accurate inventory of facility medications
  • Provide emergency first aid to clients and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in policies and procedures, and attend relevant continuing education and in-service training
Requirements:
  • Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) certification
  • CPR certification and good standing with Ohio Medicaid billing practices
  • Experience in a medication-assisted treatment program or pharmacy setting (preferred)
