Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, components, and equipment required for manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate qualified suppliers based on factors such as quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to maximize cost savings and ensure supplier performance.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews, contract renewals, and dispute resolution.
  • Process purchase orders, requisitions, and change orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor purchase order status and expedite deliveries as needed.
  • Resolve supplier issues and disputes promptly.
  • Collaborate with production planning to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
  • Implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and improve inventory turnover.
  • Conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Monitor market trends and identify potential cost-saving alternatives.
  • Ensure that purchased materials and components meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Work with suppliers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in initiatives to improve the purchasing process and supplier performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing purchasing or procurement.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in purchasing software and systems (e.g., ERP, MRP).
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Benefits

LHH Recruitment Solutions offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
