Implementation Specialist

The Implementation Specialist will play a crucial role in facilitating successful inventory solution implementations for Wurth Industry North America. This position will provide implementation support from the pre-implementation phase to post-go-live support, ensuring seamless integration of inventory management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Sales Team with inventory management solution implementations, including data collection, physical inventory counting, and cross-referencing.
Use internal systems, tools, and resources to identify and cross-reference manufacturer and competitive item numbers and/or descriptions to a Northern Safety & Industrial item number.
Create spreadsheets and print bar-code labels for VMI and CMI setup using the most current process.
Organize inventory areas, put material in bins, and create inventory EOQ's (minimum and maximum) baselines.
Provide management with weekly updates on implementation status in the required format.
Provide leadership to local associates during large implementations.
Have face-to-face interaction with internal and external senior-level and frontline management team members.
Provide project scope and resource requirements for large-scale implementations to the management team.
Train customers on the use of new inventory solutions.
Have general knowledge of all inventory solutions, including CMI, VMI, POU, and web-based solutions.
Have general knowledge of industrial supplies and Northern Safety & Industrial's product offerings.
Ensure excellent customer relations by responding to customer needs consistent with Northern Safety & Industrial's standards, culture, and business practices.
Add non-cross-referenced items into the competitive NSI database.
Manage all aspects of business travel in adherence to corporate travel and expense guidelines.
Assist the NSI team when not providing implementation services at the customer site.
Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2 years or more related experience.
Familiarity with a variety of industrial products is required.
Broad knowledge of procurement processes and sales theory/skills is preferred.
Direct customer interaction and problem-solving experience is a plus.
Strong administrative, planning, and organizing experience is required.
Working Conditions
The work environment is usually moderate, with occasional moderate noise levels.
The associate must be able to stand, walk, and sit frequently.
The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
