Job Overview:
The Superintendent with Estimating proficiency is essential for overseeing on-site operations while also engaging in project estimation. This multifaceted role demands a combination of practical supervision and technical estimating skills, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily on-site activities, including subcontractor oversight, scheduling, and quality assurance.
  • Work closely with project managers and estimators to deliver precise project estimates, covering materials, labor, and timelines.
  • Guarantee that all interior construction initiatives, particularly flooring, adhere to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Analyze project documents and specifications to create comprehensive and accurate estimates.
  • Track project advancement, recognizing potential challenges and implementing strategies to maintain project timelines.
  • Conduct regular site evaluations to ensure work meets the highest quality standards and complies with company policies.
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost control and achievement of financial goals.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and successful project delivery.
  • Guide and mentor on-site teams, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and excellence.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in interior construction, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or superintendent capacity.
  • Demonstrated estimating experience, with a solid history of accurately predicting project costs and timelines.
  • Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques relevant to interior construction.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, capable of effectively managing and motivating teams.
  • Proficient in estimating software, project management applications, and other pertinent construction technologies.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as necessary.
