The Superintendent with Estimating capabilities is essential in overseeing on-site activities while also engaging in project cost estimation. Core Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily on-site activities, including subcontractor oversight, scheduling, and quality assurance.
  • Work alongside project managers and estimators to deliver precise project estimates encompassing materials, labor, and timelines.
  • Guarantee that all interior construction tasks, particularly flooring, are carried out in accordance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Examine project documentation and specifications to formulate detailed and accurate estimates.
  • Track project advancement, recognizing potential challenges and implementing solutions to maintain project timelines.
  • Conduct regular site evaluations to ensure work meets the highest quality standards and complies with company policies.
  • Oversee project finances, ensuring cost management and achievement of financial goals.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and successful project delivery.
  • Guide and mentor on-site teams, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and excellence.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in interior construction, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or superintendent capacity.
  • Proven estimating experience, with a solid history of accurately predicting project costs and timelines.
  • Thorough understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and techniques related to interior construction.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, capable of effectively managing and motivating teams.
  • Familiarity with estimating software, project management tools, and other relevant construction technologies.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as necessary.
