Job Title: Regional Business Development Representative

At S-E-A, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our service offerings with existing and new clients in our target markets of Insurance Companies, Law Firms, and Corporations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell to and expand our service offerings with existing and new clients in our target markets.
  • Responsible for increasing market share by proactively prospecting, pursuing, and closing new business.
  • Manage multiple client relationships and engagements, including addressing any client issues.
  • Develop and solidify long-term business relationships and partnerships.
  • Proactively seek new clients that align with our target customer profiles and strategically plan and execute a sales plan.
  • Attend national industry trade shows and seminars.
  • Assist with integrating diverse personalities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and execute a sales plan that results in new client revenues.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers of targeted prospects.
  • Assist with addressing any client complaints or concerns.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of insurance industry experience.
  • Outside B2B sales experience highly preferred.
  • Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, relationship management, and time management skills.
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationwide.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time, mostly by vehicle.
  • Ability to travel about 15% of the time via airline.
  • Approximately 30% overnight travel.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Ability to drive and travel to client locations and conferences.
