Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Strategy Consultant plays a pivotal role in guiding financial planning and operational support within the organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Planning and Reporting, this position serves as the primary clinical and operational authority on financial and data analytical strategies, ensuring alignment with the needs of various Program and Service teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the strategic lead for financial and operational analytics, providing insights and support to designated teams.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and reporting to meet customer needs, ensuring high standards of accuracy and reliability.
  • Oversee complex budgeting, planning, and management functions, identifying performance indicators and implementing best practices.
  • Engage in special projects, including the development of business cases and providing strategic oversight and recommendations that influence financial and resource management decisions.
  • Mentor and guide staff, offering day-to-day direction and support.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a recognized professional accounting designation (CPA) with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, healthcare systems, and analytical methodologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial data systems and tools.
