Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and host wine tastings and tours for guests, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience.
  • Provide top-notch customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist in events, private dinners, and various site activities, demonstrating a strong ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of the tasting room, including restocking, inventory management, and wine packing.
  • Process retail sales and wine club promotions, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless transactions.
  • Follow site policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Complete projects and other duties as directed by the Retail Sales Manager, demonstrating a proactive and results-driven approach.
About You

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who shares our passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To be at least 21 years of age.
  • To have some experience in retail sales or a similar hospitality setting.
  • To possess exemplary customer service skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with guests.
  • To have strong presentation skills, with the ability to relay knowledge of wines and wine production in a clear and engaging manner.
  • To be dynamic, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • To have a clean and professional appearance, with a strong ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • To have knowledge of food and wine, the wine industry, and Napa and Bay Area restaurants.
  • To be able to lift 50 pounds (a case of wine).
  • To have wine industry and/or tasting room experience, although this is not required.
  • To be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), some holidays, and evenings.
