Garden Sales Associate Job Description

Silverado Ace Hardware is a world-class service provider, and we're looking for a talented Garden Sales Associate to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize customer satisfaction above all else.
  • Stay up-to-date on plants, gardening, native and drought-tolerant options, outdoor power equipment, and soils.
  • Keep track of promotions and advertisements to provide valuable information to customers.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of products and their uses.
  • Develop merchandising skills and abilities.
  • Assist in processing new shipments and maintaining a clean and organized receiving and back room area.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, or currently enrolled in school.
  • Trade skills and a supportive personality that aligns with our Core Values and mission are a plus, but we'll provide training.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of plants, gardening, native and drought-tolerant options, outdoor power equipment, and soils is preferred, but we'll train.
  • Knowledge of retail computer systems is a plus.
