Job Title: Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Ace Hardware.

Job Summary:

The Sales Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including hardware, tools, and DIY supplies.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and inviting store environment.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and debit transactions.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, identifying and meeting their needs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
