Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Conference and Media Technology Specialist to join our team in Cleveland. This role will be responsible for facilitating conferencing needs via modern media tools, providing technical support, and ensuring seamless meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities- Offer guidance and support in setting up and testing meetings, including facilitating those meetings as needed.
- Review and validate that scheduled meetings have started.
- Understand which platforms meet particular client needs and support the end user accordingly.
- Learns the ongoing office conferencing needs, knows which platforms meet particular client needs, and directs users accordingly.
- Assists in planning, staging, and testing for the facilitation of conferencing needs in various office locations and passing on knowledge as the platforms and client needs continue to evolve.
- Oversees the support of 12-15 physical conferencing suites as well as local and virtual assistance on all platforms.
- Monitors weekly conferencing schedule needs and assists where appropriate in any delivery needs for optimal client experience.
- Quickly assesses and resolves urgent client meeting needs while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Troubleshoots conferencing aesthetics (lighting, sound, webcams) and can coach users on resolving any occurring issues and best practices.
- Successfully coordinates a multi-site blended conference meeting (physical and virtual) across different time zones.
- High school diploma required; at least 3 years of relevant experience, including help desk experience, and solid Windows 10 desktop experience.
- Familiarity with modern conferencing platforms, including WebEx, Zoom, Team platforms, and how to best utilize the platforms and scheduling toolsets.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with the internal team and external parties.
- Ability to convey information and knowledge in an effective way for non-tech users.
- Ability to balance multiple requests and maintain the highest level of client service.
