Job Title: Behavioral Health Therapist

SummitStone Health Partners is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical services to our clients, promoting their recovery, and empowering them to achieve their full potential.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Behavioral Health Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to clients with mild to severe mental health symptoms, substance use disorder symptoms, and/or disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-going and/or acute clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external treatment team members to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Monitor and document client progress, interactions, and treatment services.
  • Ensure that documentation and maintenance of client charts meet agency, state, federal, and other audit standards.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Registered with DORA as a Candidate working towards licensure.
  • At least one year of experience in the behavioral health field.
  • At least one year of experience with mild to severe mental illness and substance use disorders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Substance Use Disorder Licensure (CAS or LAC) preferred.
  • Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred.
