Job Overview:
The Clinical Pharmacist PD plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications at Brown University Health. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, this key position involves overseeing pharmacy operations, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and collaborating with healthcare providers to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include interpreting medications, developing policies and procedures, and monitoring patient medication orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and evaluate medications for patients, recommending changes as needed.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance pharmacy operations and services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure quality care and cost-effective medication management.
  • Lead a team of pharmacy technicians and support staff, providing guidance and oversight to maintain high standards.

Requirements:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PhD) or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmacy leadership, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams.

Estimated Salary Range: $125,000 - $165,000 per year, depending on experience.
