Oncology Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced oncology pharmacist to join our team at a cancer and infusion center in Berkshire, Massachusetts. This is a 13-week travel position with potential for temp-to-hire.

This role involves assessing patient therapy for appropriateness, incorporating age-specific modifications and clinical interventions to prevent adverse drug events. Responsibilities also include conducting clinical research, participating in professional development programs, serving as a liaison to other departments, supervising pharmacy technicians, managing inventory of medications, developing and updating departmental policies, and standardizing ordering procedures for chemotherapeutic medications.

• Minimum 1+ years of pharmacy experience required.
• 5+ years of extensive acute care clinical experience preferred.
• Able to mix compounds required.
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in Oncology strongly preferred.
• Board Certification Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) preferred.
• Independent worker with excellent supervisory capabilities.

$140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
