Clinical Pharmacist Specialist Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our team at Lifespan in Providence, Rhode Island. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, pharmacoeconomic analysis, and drug information.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive salary range of $143,000 - $175,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, pharmacoeconomic analysis, and drug information.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication use and improve patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement therapeutic drug policies and guidelines.
- Maintain current knowledge of pharmaceuticals, including new medications and disease management standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Current registration as a licensed pharmacist in the State of Rhode Island.
- Advanced study in pharmacy or health care-related field, preferably a master's degree or comparable work experience.
- Successful completion of Post Graduate Year 2 (PGY-2) Residency from an accredited program in area of specialty, if applicable.
