Position Overview:
The Production Packaging Specialist is an entry-level role focused on the efficient packaging of goods. Responsibilities include loading and moving materials, as well as operating packaging machinery while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit safe working practices by utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety protocols.
- Demonstrate reliability by maintaining punctuality and following the work schedule.
- Foster a collaborative environment by effectively working with colleagues.
- Comply with the company's General Manufacturing Policies.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and clean workspace.
- Monitor conveyor systems and resolve any bottle jams.
- Collect and properly dispose of any dropped bottles from the production area.
- Process discarded bottles through the grinder when necessary.
- Conduct quality inspections of bottles throughout production, packaging, and labeling stages.
- Perform bottle quality tests, including drop tests for specific production lines.
- Promptly report any abnormalities, defects, or quality concerns encountered.
- Oversee the inventory levels of packaging materials and replenish as required.
- Ensure accurate labeling and packaging in accordance with customer specifications.
- Transport finished products to designated storage areas.
- Facilitate efficient workstation organization and maintain supply levels for seamless shift transitions.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
