Job Description

At BankProv, we're seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our branch team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the sales, service, operations, and cultural performance of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, building rapport and relationships with our clients.
  • Strive to guarantee customer satisfaction by engaging with customers to welcome them, personalize the experience, and determine the best way to serve them.
  • Embody the Bank's mission, CORE values, and cultural foundation by taking personal initiative and setting a positive example for others to emulate.
  • Assist other team members to ensure the bank is represented in a favorable light and actively contribute creative ideas for constant improvements.
  • Promote the bank's products and services.
  • Process financial transactions, practice sound cash handling processes, and answer inquiries and/or resolve simple to complex concerns on customer accounts.
  • Attend mandatory training and/or online assignments for regulatory compliance as scheduled.
  • Understand and observe all security and regulatory banking requirements to maintain compliance within State and Federal guidelines.
  • Supervisory functions as needed for reviewing and approving transactions, as well as opening and closing the branch as needed. Also, will support Sr. Relationship Manager or Relationship Officer with employee relations needs.
  • Actively cross-sell the bank's products and services, referring customers to other departments when appropriate.
  • Active participant in development and training of branch staff, and may be selected to participate in the Peer Audit or Retail Trainee teams.
  • Perform select supervisory functions as needed for reviewing and approving transactions, as well as opening and closing the branch as needed.
  • Answer questions and/or resolve complex technical problems on customers' accounts.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with customers and employees, as well as actively listen, interpret information, and interact in a positive, helpful manner.
  • Provides exceptional customer service skills that include assessing customer needs and exceeding customer expectations through recommendations and effective problem resolution consistent with standard practices.
  • Ability to educate customers on present features and benefits of products and services in order to meet individual needs.
  • Ability to act individually and within a team environment to achieve branch-wide goals and activities.
  • Must possess excellent judgment with the ability to accept responsibility and handle confidential information.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in any given situation. Must be able to adapt to change.
  • Maintain cash within established limits to reduce bank's exposure to loss.
  • Ability to handle basic math skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, with delegation when necessary.
  • Professional dress and demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage internal and external customer relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Three to five years of retail banking experience.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to supervise or lead a team in current or prior work experience.

Travel:

Availability to travel on short notice to meet immediate business needs may be required.
