Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Technician, Electrical to join our Assembly Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing repetitive and non-repetitive assembly tasks of precision electromechanical components. Your strong emphasis on product quality, cosmetic handling damage, and ability to build functional products with little to no rework required will be crucial to our success.

Key Responsibilities

Perform analysis, testing, and support of electronics and circuits. Fabricate and assemble electronics systems from blueprints, schematics, or sketches using knowledge of electronic systems, components, and their functions. Troubleshoot product designs and suggest or implement improvements. Conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production models. Perform calibration checks on electronic instruments. Work with engineers to perform root cause and failure analysis as required. Provide support to manufacturing.

Requirements

High School/Trade School diploma or equivalent and 4-6 years' experience. Experienced in complex electrical assemblies. Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, variable frequency drives, servo motor controllers, data logging equipment/software, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity. Great interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback. Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills. Brushless DC motor experience a plus. PLC experience a plus.

Working Conditions

Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like. Constantly moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces. Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods. Constantly moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. Constantly adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions. Constantly communicating with others to exchange information. Constantly Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Occasionally operating machinery and/or power tools. Occasionally operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment. Constant light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. Occasional medium to heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more. Prolonged use of computer monitors. Works around chemicals such as gases, liquid, solvents, etc. Personal protective equipment is provided and required.
