**Role Summary**
The primary focus of this position is to support all management and staff while ensuring that retail operations align with company standards. The Team Lead will oversee the daily functions of the dispensary and address the needs of all patients and customers. In collaboration with the Store Manager, this role will be responsible for recruiting and nurturing a team of highly motivated individuals who are passionate about cannabis and compliant with state and local regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise and execute all leadership functions associated with a retail medical marijuana dispensary operating under licensure from the Florida Department of Health.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to all patients while mentoring other team members.
- Respect all team members and communicate findings to the appropriate management.
- Conduct routine inspections to maintain accurate inventory of all cannabis products.
- Manage and oversee the activities of patient advocate staff.
- Ensure that all procedures are updated in-store to provide best practices for staff and patients.
- Train dispensary staff to ensure consistent performance and comprehensive knowledge of company standard operating procedures, as well as an understanding of all marijuana and marijuana-infused products sold to patients.
- Ensure Key Performance Indicators are accurately captured.
- Oversee daily financial reporting requirements and manage all cash handling procedures.
- Develop and maintain a schedule for all patient advocate staff.
- Communicate any patient incidents or high-risk complaints to the Operations Director or Compliance team.
- Protect patient rights by managing the employee HIPAA education program and ensuring confidentiality and privacy of protected health information.
- Oversee patient education and counseling programs, continuously revising information disseminated by the dispensary regarding debilitating conditions and their association with medical cannabis products.
- Maintain awareness of both external and internal competitive landscapes, opportunities for improvement, and industry developments.
- Assist in ensuring the dispensary's compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, and best practices.
- Aim for patient satisfaction in all respects and ensure a patient-friendly environment at the dispensary.
- Ensure traceability of products from reception to final sale.
- Receive, check, and enter inventory into the system upon arrival of shipments.
- Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Check (FBI).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.

- Regular operation of computer/POS systems and standard office equipment.
- Ability to remain stationary when checking in patients or operating the register.
- Ability to observe and assess patient entry via cameras and inspect patient IDs.
- Frequent communication with staff via walkie-talkie or headset.
- Constant movement and transportation of dispensary products weighing up to 30 lbs.
