Job Description

Job Title: Construction Estimator

Company: KGS Construction Services, Inc.

As a vital member of our team, you will engage with clients to coordinate site assessments and enhance our sales efforts.

  • Conduct thorough site evaluations to identify issues and maintenance needs on building structures.
  • Create detailed CAD schematics using our specialized Roof Logic software.
  • Formulate comprehensive scopes of work for necessary repairs and ongoing maintenance.
  • Draft cost estimates that clearly outline the proposed work and associated expenses.
  • Oversee the projects you initiate from inception to completion.
  • Develop, manage, and communicate project timelines to clients.
  • Assist in, oversee, or carry out field tests to identify sources of water intrusion on problematic leaks, documenting findings with photographic evidence.
  • Perform inspections of building façades and compile photo documentation along with cost estimates for corrective measures.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across various service departments and KGS management.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives to foster new business opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide mentorship to peers and field personnel within the service division.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in masonry.
  • 3-5 years of experience in cost estimation.
  • Proven ability to cultivate relationships with clients.
