Position Summary:

The Construction Manager I plays a crucial role in providing project support, which includes conducting field visits, performing site inspections, documenting findings, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide site construction support, overseeing the installation of various components such as towers, mounts, antennas, feed lines, electronic cabinets, shelters, generators, HVAC systems, and utilities.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Identify safety standard gaps and risks, offering recommendations to senior technical staff and management.
  • Assist in tracking all project and A&E activities using Site Tracker or other project management systems.
  • Review and comprehend project drawings and specifications.
  • Support clients with equipment orders, manage warehouse inventory, and handle the return of site equipment.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments to ensure proposed sites meet quality and technical standards.
  • Review punch lists to confirm overall construction completion and manage contractor performance.
  • Ensure construction contractors secure all necessary inspections, final approvals, and recorded easements for timely project closeout.
  • Compile and present a comprehensive closeout package.
  • Prepare and update site status reports, databases, and project forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and the Quality Plan.
  • Understand client objectives and quality standards, ensuring all work aligns with these expectations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience in construction management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Effective collaboration skills with colleagues at all levels and the ability to follow supervision respectfully.
  • Excellent communication skills with peers, managers, contractors, and clients.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite; experience with databases and customer tracking systems is advantageous.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various sites.
  • OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge in Technical Trades, Maintenance, Electrical, or Instrumentation is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills are highly valued.
  • Ability to create detailed and concise reports and tracking tools for all project aspects is advantageous.
