Account Sales Manager Opportunity

Goertek Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Account Sales Manager to support our NPI and sustain OEM/JDM commodity business for Key Tier 1 customer account. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will collaborate with colleagues in the US and Asia to develop the latest in consumer electronics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to generate leads for new opportunities.
  • Design and execute sales strategies based on customer supplier strategy, product roadmap, and competitor analyses.
  • Own RFQ/RFP response and commercial relationship upon project award, providing regular quotation updates and SOW completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within both customer and internal teams, including sourcing, technical PM, and product design engineering teams.
  • Act as a proactive liaison with our China-based factory personnel and operation team based on day-to-day engagement with customers.
  • Provide regular project and account status updates to leadership team and drive timely completion of tasks and issue resolution.
  • Manage quarterly business review meetings with the customer.
  • Minimize excess and obsolete materials by managing product transitions.
  • Lead recovery plans and execution when supply falls short of demand.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience and/or 3 years of project management experience.
  • BA is required, MBA desired.
  • Prior experience in mechanical or electrical component business development.
  • Prior experience of working with Asia-based OEM/ODM manufacturers.
  • Understands product cost and ability to analyze clean sheets.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to lead multiple projects and prioritize when required.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred.
  • Availability to travel domestically or internationally when necessary.

The base pay range for this role is between $111,429.00 to $156,000.00 annually, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
