The Courtyard by Marriott Alexandria Pentagon South is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Supervisor. This role is essential in supporting the Front Office Manager in overseeing the Front Desk team, ensuring that guests receive prompt, efficient, and courteous service throughout their stay, ultimately achieving the highest levels of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Duties Include:

  • Supervising all Guest Service associates to ensure smooth Front Desk operations.
  • Enhancing guest satisfaction by addressing requests and resolving complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Assisting at the Front Desk during peak times or as staffing needs arise.
  • Carrying out additional tasks as assigned by management.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate information and ideas.
  • Quickly assess and choose among various courses of action.
  • Maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Proactively manage workplace challenges, including anticipating and resolving issues.
  • Listen to and clarify concerns raised by both guests and colleagues.
Qualifications:
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Previous experience in hotel front desk operations is required.
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role is necessary.
  • Experience with Marriott is preferred.
