Position Summary: We are on the lookout for a proficient and knowledgeable HVAC Technician to become a vital part of our energetic team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in HVAC systems, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, and exhibit outstanding problem-solving abilities. As an HVAC Technician at Keep Your Cool Air Conditioning, your responsibilities will include the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems for both residential and commercial clients.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and safety evaluations.
  • Ensure adherence to local HVAC regulations and standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain effective communication with clients.
  • Keep accurate records of services rendered and components utilized.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in HVAC is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Technician.
  • Valid HVAC technician certification and EPA 608 certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
  • COMMERCIAL HVAC EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY DESIRABLE
