Position Overview:
We are currently in search of a skilled Lead Building Automation Technician to enhance our team. This role involves the commissioning, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of HVAC/DDC control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program and troubleshoot various HVAC control products.
  • Load system-level controller software and perform comprehensive commissioning and diagnostics from controllers to end devices (e.g., sensors, actuators).
  • Create and update graphical user interfaces (GUI) for system management.
  • Integrate with third-party networks and software systems.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, building trust and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Receive commendations for exceptional customer service and teamwork.
  • Prioritize safety to prevent accidents and protect property.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical and HVAC principles.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track job effectiveness.

Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls.
  • Familiarity with BAS communication protocols such as BACnet MSTP, BACnet IP, N2, P1, Modbus, LON, and Tridium Ax/N4.
  • Willingness to work on-site at client locations.
  • Proficiency in electrical wiring and the ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
  • Strong knowledge of IT networking.

NICE TO HAVE:
  • A technical certificate in HVAC or equivalent experience in an HVAC-related field.
  • Experience with platforms such as Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Trane, Delta Controls, or Automated Logic.
