Job Description:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Controls Service Technician with a strong background in commercial building automation systems.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of building automation systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency for clients.


Key Responsibilities:
Program and calibrate building automation systems (BAS) including HVAC and energy management systems.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on existing BAS to ensure systems are operating efficiently and effectively.
Experience with Niagara and/or Distech desirable.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
Conduct system upgrades and enhancements to improve performance and efficiency.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including maintenance logs and service reports.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in building automation technology.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.


Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation systems, with a focus on commercial properties.
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and energy management systems.
Proficiency in programming and configuring BAS software (e.g., Tridium, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

Qualifications:
Certifications in relevant BAS systems or technologies.
Experience with networked controls and integration of various building systems.
Knowledge of energy management practices and sustainable building technologies.
