Senior Property Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Manager to join our team at South Portland Housing Authority. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our properties and ensuring that our residents receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of property managers to ensure the smooth operation of our properties.
  • Develop and implement effective property management strategies to maximize resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Housing Programs to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with HUD, Regulatory Agreements, and other relevant regulations.
  • Provide training and support to property management and occupancy team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Serve as a liaison between the property management team and other departments, including Administrative, Housing Choice Voucher, Finance, Supportive Services, and Maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3-5 years of experience in housing or property management, with 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Certified Occupancy Specialist and LIHTC Certification required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop, prepare, and present financial reports and analyses, with strong organizational and time management skills.
