Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates incoming raw materials for temperature, labeling, and overall condition. Documents findings on quality control sheets. Assesses non-manufactured items for compliance with specifications and records relevant data.
  • Inspects repackaged and finished products to ensure they meet established specifications. Maintains accurate records on quality control sheets.
  • Conducts daily evaluations of sanitation practices, monitors employee hygiene, product storage conditions, and checks for potential cross-contamination. Records any deficiencies and corrective measures taken.
  • Ensures compliance with HACCP standards for regulated products, including choice production, cooked, and marinated items. Takes necessary actions when compliance issues arise.
  • Reviews returned products to determine their disposition and documents findings accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Experience with data entry is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently is necessary.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in meat production is preferred.
