Front Desk Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Marriott Baltimore Inner Harbor. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front office operations, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet guests with a friendly and sincere welcome, use a positive and clear speaking voice, and respond to requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Front Office Operations: Assist the Front Office Manager in managing front office operations, including registration, check-in, and check-out processes.
- Team Management: Supervise and train front desk staff, provide guidance and support, and ensure that all team members are meeting performance expectations.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, and make decisions based on previous experience and good judgment.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management, both verbally and in writing, and prepare complex reports and documents as needed.
- Education: High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
- Experience: One year experience in customer service in hospitality or a similar industry.
- Skills: Basic mathematical skills, ability to access and accurately input information using a computer system, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remain calm and alert, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests, staff, and management.
