Position Overview

Black Bear Corporation is seeking a dedicated Security Operations Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and safety of our operations. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience in security management to enhance our security protocols and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee the Security Operations Program, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including company executives and government representatives, to maintain optimal security performance.
  • Provide expert guidance on security matters, ensuring adherence to national security directives and policies.
  • Manage security clearance processes for new hires and current employees, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all necessary documentation.
  • Conduct security briefings and training sessions to promote awareness and compliance among staff.
  • Perform regular audits and inspections to assess the effectiveness of security measures and identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate the closeout of classified projects, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
  • Oversee the maintenance of personnel security records and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Current in-scope DoD TS Clearance.
  • Completion of DCSA FSO training and certification.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a security management role.
  • Proficient in the use of security management systems and databases.
  • Strong understanding of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and related security guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education

A degree in a relevant field such as Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, or Business Administration is preferred, though equivalent experience may be considered.

Work Environment

This position will be based in an office environment, with occasional travel required.
