Summary
The Security Operations Specialist will be tasked with delivering comprehensive security services at a designated facility.
Key Responsibilities
+ Engage in communication through radio, telephone, and verbal interactions as per directives.
+ Required to liaise and escort as necessary with both public and governmental representatives.
+ Responsible for access control, traffic management, and executing both foot and vehicle patrols with armed security measures.
+ Adhere to established standard operating procedures and governmental regulations concerning the safeguarding of weapons, facilities, personnel, government assets, and equipment.
+ Conduct thorough inspections of personnel, vehicles, buildings, and facilities, as well as package and parcel evaluations.
+ Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
+ Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Certification as an Armed Security Guard through the appropriate governing body.
+ Possession of an active Secret clearance.
+ Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
+ Certification in the use of Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) Spray.
+ Certification in the use of Batons.
+ At least one year of experience, preferably within a civilian police force, military police unit, or civilian security organization.
+ Current CPR certification from a recognized provider.
+ Ability to meet the physical agility standards as established by the client.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Proficient in operating personal computers and standard office equipment.
+ Familiarity with various software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and email platforms.
