Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee the Industrial Security Program to ensure compliance with all relevant security requirements.
  • Manage the security clearance process for new hires, including continuous vetting procedures.
  • Administer security clearance investigations and maintain accurate records in relevant databases.
  • Conduct security briefings and training sessions to ensure all personnel are informed of security protocols.
  • Review and process Visit Access Requests (VARs) to facilitate secure operations.
  • Perform audits and inspections to assess compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the closeout of classified projects and ensure all security documentation is properly managed.
  • Engage in self-inspections and collaborate in the review of security processes to promote adherence to standards.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned, ensuring alignment with the responsibilities of the Security Operations Manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active DoD TS Clearance.
  • Completion of DCSA FSO training and certification for non-possessing facilities.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a similar security role.
  • Proficient in using security management systems and databases.
  • Thorough understanding of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and related regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, or Business Administration.
  • Certification as an Industrial Security Professional (ISP).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal contracting processes and security guidelines.
  • Experience in conducting security training and incident investigations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks under pressure.
