Position Summary: We are seeking a qualified Security Operations Specialist with an active TS/SCI clearance to support our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of security protocols and regulations, particularly within the Department of Defense (DoD), and will be responsible for safeguarding personnel and ensuring compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the security processing for Government Civilian, Military, and Contractor personnel, ensuring thorough tracking of each action until completion, including data entry into relevant security systems.
  • Assist in Government-led investigations into security incidents, including organizing interviews, preparing detailed reports, and monitoring incidents from initiation to resolution.
  • Conduct physical security assessments, manage accreditation paperwork, identify vulnerabilities, recommend mitigation strategies, and support organizations in achieving compliance.
  • Provide training to personnel on security awareness and compliance reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • At least 5 years of experience within the DoD or a federal agency in a related field.
  • Proven experience supporting medium-scale DoD organizations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or similar systems.
  • Exceptional investigative and reporting capabilities.
  • Thorough understanding of federal record policies and legislation.
  • Ability to conduct training and perform risk assessments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and recommend strategies for vulnerability mitigation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline.
  • Experience providing security support within high-profile environments.
